How to add an avatar?

I am no computer guru, heck I don’t even own one... I use an Ipad. At least I got rid of my flip phone. I have tried to add multiple pictures for an avatar but every time I do I get a warning that the pixel size is too large. The pictures are taken with an IPhone. How do I fix that? Thank You in advance.

I'm no pro believe me. You have to resize the picture. Normally you can go into the picture and there is a setting that says resize. I had to send mine to Yt. Lol my flip phone couldn't do it.

Download a picture sizing app and shrink it down until it works.

Screen shot it on your phone. Then email it to your computer or upload that pic from your phone. It will be much lower rez.
