If you don't use the head, it makes perfect storage.
For our party, the one single thing that interrupts a good time (while not swimming) is when someone has to pee.
Who wants to go to shore when the drinks are flowing?
I won't own a boat without a working, flushing toilet.

Haha, you should see my group of friends πŸ₯ƒ.. I'm the only semi-non drinker of the bunch...the drinks flow, and so does the pee. None of us swim anymore.
I had enough of the gottapee runs with our last boat. Quick trip to the head, flush clean and ready to keep the party going...πŸ˜‚
Anyway OP, as you can assume, I highly recommend the porcelain electric toilet option with the 10 gallon holding tank.

Possibly later in life, T.

Right now, all of us are in and out of the lake so much that it never comes up....unless the rare #2 happens to stop by. That happened twice in 15 years. At least this time I have a pump out waste option if needed.

Thanks AsLan7 - the information on the forum is great. For the record - no toilets on any boat we have. That will be storage space i guess.

I hear ya.. I'm hoping for grandchildren...someday..soon... and I know the importance of a potty!
As far as swimming in any open body of water? I guess I have a little too much OCD. It's my swimming pool, or nothing..

Sorry I haven't been on here much the past week. One more thing to add is I was strongly considering a 276 with a vp 430. We run quite a bit vs sitting on a sand bar so fuel burn was part of my decision, dumb or not. Over 100 hours since May for instance. So the 50 gal tank I wish was a little bigger seems to be fine for a day so far and never had to fuel up same day. Big diff in the 380 vs 430 and 2' more boat if it matters and Also dry store and every foot matters (ha! Tusc). Head for us too always but you can always take a porta aboard when needed.

" Big diff in the 380 vs 430"

I can certainly attest to this. Did not think I would notice much of a difference going from our 380 hp VP to a 425HO Merc...but, Wow. :o

100 hours since May? Ma-MAN!
We're movers too, but sadly it's been a windy summer here, so we haven't gone out as much as we would have likes. We like to ride better than sit. Our sitting seems to come from hooking up with friends who also have a boat. We tie up and socialize on the water. I mean, they (wife and son included) drink and I have a glass of wine.. :D

Every foot does matter! It's crazy what a difference a couple of feet make..

It was a huge upgrade in size from our 200-220 there's a foot extra every where you sit. I don't notice the size difference at all driving it. The 222 is just different. The sides are much deeper and cockpit is set up different and more standing room. Each model has it's own bennies. If you have room and don't want two footies in two years go big now. The A series just looks upscale to me. Love them lines. I haven't sat in them and studied them though. I'm sure you could get a nice left over one also that they will be willing to deal on brute the off season starts.
