Thought I would resurrect this thread.

We are considering the new and improved SwellPro Spry+ for our boating needs. It's a lower priced waterproof sport drone with a 4k camera. We like it's small footprint, waterproof (including saltwater) features, ease of use, bright color, and how it can flip upside down in the water to right it self allowing it to takeoff again.

We also like that to land it we just stop the boat and let it land in the water instead of trying to catch it with those props turning.

A major downside is the 17 minutes of flying time. We were hoping for 30 or more. Extra batteries on board our boat will help but that is still not a lot. I know the kids will love it following them wake-boarding and tubing. Plus the footage to watch at night after a day of boating will be memorable.

Any users out there with this particular model?

Thx bbp.

I’ve been doing some drone testing on our 263 the last couple of weeks. We picked up the SwellPro Spry + waterproof drone. I really enjoy this drone. Follow me mode is the bomb and the entire setup, controller included, is waterproof. No being concerned about launching or recovering on the boat. Throw it in the water and launch. Just bring lots of batteries (we bought six & three chargers) with charging capabilities on the boat for all day flying.

Looking forward to the 4th with the kids as we capture some action shots.
In the meantime here’s a test vid and pic. (Sorry about the quality. It shoots in 4K but my mother-in-law’s WiFi won’t allow high quality upload to YouTube.).....

Very cool. Can't wait for this weekend. My wife is having a party so no boating for us.
