Stern Stereo Remote Connections

Post by Cobalt262 »

Hey all,

Does anyone know if the stern stereo CPS remote connections are standard factory installed even if the boat was not ordered with a stern stereo remote?

I was hoping to add a stereo remote at the stern, but don't see any unused connections in the wiring bundle. I'd hate to run wires only to find out the connections are already there somewhere.

Thanks

.
The molex connector may be there but you’ll still have to run the rca jack. Look at the pics in this thread for what the CPS connects look like.

Thanks AsLan7,

I picked both those up. Front one replaced fine. Was wondering about the ease of putting one at the stern too.

Ahh, I see you are the buyer. :D

If the factory ran the wires with the molex connector it will be on the port side transom location.

Ok, thanks. I'll check for it. I would be a lot easier if I was 12 inches tall.
