I got one from our first trip ever taking it out! I think the camera is doing something funny here, because it looks like my truck is really squatting under the weight of the boat. It sits level normally.
P.S. I actually took one on the way to the lake this last weekend, but I also donated my phone to the bottom of the lake on that same trip, so no pictures of the latest trip.

Not exactly sure on tongue weight, was more concerned with overall weight, but 6.2 and auto level on the GMC handles it well.

Measured my R5 at 600# which is above the dead weight rating of our F-150 hitch of 500#. We use a weight distributing hitch because of that. You are probably pushing 800# or 900#.

Most of the time you run out of payload before you hit max towing weight.

Agreed. Cobalt owners know how to pull their boats in style I'd say!

I've found it's cheaper do sacrifice a towel or ball cap to the Lake Gods.

LOL, that's true Krob...
To top it off. Once I made it home from the lake, I went to a friends house to help out with some things, and when leaving there, put a large hole in the sidewall of my tire (towing rig) on one of the large rocks he has lining his driveway. The tire was discontinued (of course it is) so I had to buy 2 new ones.

It was a very expensive day, to say the least. Thankfully, I don't have pictures to remind me of it.
