How does it smell Akor?

I love everything about Hot Sauce except that vinegar smell. You kinda get used to it but others helping to wipe down the boat always mention it.

Ducky’s doesn’t smell like vinegar at all, but I get the Ducky’s Plus with wax in it so it smells more like carauba wax.

The people I bought my boat from use Babes and it looks new, they gave me a kit and I have just stayed with it. I wipe the boat down with Babes Boat Bright every weekend, use the spot remover if needed, and put seat saver on seats after a weekend. Stuff works great, I routinely get asked if the boat is new...so that’s a pretty good recommendation. I wax it with Mequiars in spring with a couple of coats, and just stick with it.

So hot sauce - Ducky’s a - Babes which is the best? I’ve used the hot sauce and been impressed with the results but not the smell. Just want some others opinions before I do my own comparisons.

I've used HotSauce--about 1 bottle so far at the recommendations of this board. I can't say it didn't remove spots, but I thought it left the hull a little streaky. Now, I have a black hull and some of the hardest water I've ever seen (my sprinkler system will leave a water spot on a car window that you you can scrap off with a fingernail after one day). I honestly question if the Hotsauce is more than a vinegar/water solution. My preference is Meguiar's Flagship line. The quick detail spray does as well for me on waterspot removal and seems to add a little protection as well.

I'm sure they are all good. On a side note, I would NOT recommend Meguair's ceramic hybrid spray wax on dark colored boats. I ended up rewashing the boat twice to get it to not streak...it seems to do ok on cars though.

I use Hot Sauce on my Cobalt Blue boat and the water in Lake Travis is pretty hard. Takes the spots right off without streaking. I think it is mainly vinger and water with some wax mixed in, but it works great for me.

We went with Hot Sauce on our blue and navy color combination. No problems so far.

In using polymer waxes from Bio-Kleen, I use the polymer spray as well for the next day when I couldn’t wipe it down on a late night boating.
It removes spots, and adds a polymer layer with a almost evaporative application. ( No odor)
Loce it!

Plus it leaves no swirls like Adams does on dark hull boats when you wipe down at the ramp wet. Just wear a mask. 😷

New question.
Out dealer sold us extended warranty/protection plan at the time of our purchase.
It included some type of coating on the gel coat. Anyone familiar with this?
Should I still be waxing boat?

Prob a ceramic coating. I would call the dealer just in case if there is anything you should use. The stuff we sell comes in a kit that we give the cust. It has some extra polish to use a few times a year. I'm one that thinks more is better. Just saying the sun is a harsh thing.

I just ordered this package because the company is discontinuing their marine products and they marked them way down. It arrived Sunday and it is a nice package for the price. If anyone is needing a kit to get started, this appears to be a good option for the deeply discounted price.

Just be aware that loce it or hate it, the products will cease to be sold, but you will still have all of the accessories for your ongoing detailing needs.

I couldn't figure out why my order didn't arrive. I put it into the cart along with some other stuff, got distracted and never checked out. Grrrrr.

Will have to keep an eye to see if it goes on sale again.
