I think this is one of the best options on a boat especially if you trailer it. My last 200 had one but this 220 didn't so I wasn't sure it would work.I read somewhere that it would so for $60 it was worth a try. It was a plug and play to my Volvo set up. I highly recommend one.maybe a hour to install.

I never would have thought to see if that was even possible. Nice work - looks stock!

Agreed. This is a must if you trailer.

The other person I know that has a R5 he has it on the lift as well but wanted to add the switch. He has the same system your getting but you can't add it after the fact very easy, so this might be a option that You order from the factory.I'm sure it's not very much st time of build. Thanks also the plugs for the trim pump were right by where I mounted the switch.plug and play.

It's definitely handy to be able to Adjust the trim without having to jump in. Even at the docks if you need to adjust it.

Right not sure if you will beach it or swim in shallow water but I use mine when we are in the water. I don't boat in very deep water.
