Hi folks,
Wondering if anyone knows where I might purchase a 10 gal freshwater holding tank for my 2003 240. Am looking to add the transom shower as an afterthought.
Thanks,
Greg

Sounds crazy but you may try your local Tractor Supply, Murdoch's, Back 40, etc for something quick. You would need to get a little creative on the fill and drain but most are necks that thread in to a hole you drill. Also RotoMold on line. I run herbicide sprayers and have had to replace specialty tanks and sourced from them. They make many different types/styles.

Re: 10 gal fresh water tank supplier?
I bought the parts kit for the transom shower back in 2009. The water tank was Cobalt part number 491059. The tank was listed as 10 gallons and had a vee shaped bottom. I tried to find out if there was an off the shelf version of the right size and shape back in 2009, but was unsuccessful. I looked again just now and could not find a suitable size and shape.
My tank measures 26” long, 9.5” wide and 9.25” high. The 9,25” high dimension is from the top center to the bottom center, and so doesn’t account for the vee shaped bottom. My notes from 2009 do not make note of the bottom angle nor the side height from the top to where the angled portion begins.
We had to disassemble the rear seat in order to install the tank. The tank fits below the rear seat and forward of the engine compartment.
It looks like I have to disassemble the rear seat again in order to change the water impeller. I will take pictures and more measurements of the water tank for you when I get to the impeller.
Have you found the 240 Plumbing Drawings in the forum Technical Documents yet? The picture below is a snip from one of those plumbing drawings.
