Anyone know anything about the 293 in league city that’s on boat trader? Looking to purchase it. Survey came back with some things but they’ve fixed them I guess.

Sounds like you’re on the right track to make a good decision part of your family ATX293. ;)

Funny how they conveniently leave pics out of the best part—the engines. 🤔. Be sure to post pics of those after you squeeze the trigger. 8-)

Bottom paint and a salt water boat. If you plan on using this in fresh water I’d probably pass.

Do you like the name on it? I think if you try to take it off you will always see it in the gel coat.

I like the name. It was dry stacked and flushed after use until the past year. Everything looks good on the motors. It’s been surveyed and we tested it yesterday. Everything checked out ok.

Looks fun to have a genset so you can have a chilled cabin for a escape from the heat. Are you planning overnight on the hook? Anchoring is a water test we forget to check sometimes as we are excited about driving.
It apears to have a Windlass anchor power Head. Is it operational? If your not sure have it confirmed.

Good luck going forward.

Yes gen and ac work. I didn’t test the windlass but the surveyer did and said it worked. We do plan on staying on it from time to time. “Off the phone” weekends. Haha

Like tgrace98 mentioned above... bottom paint is a no-go for me as we lift store our boats, but for others it's perfectly acceptable. The 5.7 GSi Volvo's are smooth shifting, have substantial power and the duo-prop drives provide plenty of bite. It's a "little lean" on options as compared to one we owned with SS windshield frame and electric, porcelain pump-out head.

We loved our 293 for almost 8 years. Best of luck with it!
