Sportsstuff has great products..those look fun!

If your worried about submarine on take off or catching edges I recommend the “ Booster Ball”
Had it for many years and no scary moments

BTW, I tried the Booster Ball and I hated them. Just didn't work for us.

I have 2 of them - one used once and one never used - that I'll happily sell to someone here for $0.50 on the dollar, plus shipping.

I use the ball, wouldn't pull without it. It really keeps the tube from hanging up on the wake on my particular boat.

Ok. The verdict is in on these tubes.

Highroller:

Pros: - Kids set us high on the tube, kinda like riding a motorcycle
- Tube doesn't catch and edge and flip when out side the wake
- Extremely easy to swing this tube outside the wake.

Cons: - The boys got slight knee burns because they weren't using the pads, but placing their knees on the rear support. Girls had no problems.

Grandstand:

Pros: - None of the kids had any trouble standing on the tube while being pulled
- Allows three positions, Standing, Sitting, or laying

Cons - For some reason this tube is extremely hard to swing outside the wake

Verdict. Save your money and buy the Highroller. It is by far the better constructed tube and looks the coolest.

Bring this thread back to life.
We killed our tube towards
the end of the season. So we are in the market for another one. We go through 1 every year or 2 at the most. So not looking for a 300 plus dollar tube. Give me some ideas. Granted our kids do prefer to lay down on them.

I bought an Airhead Griffin 3 last year. Its a great tube and very easy to get it outside the wake because the edges are turned up like wings. We liked it so much I bought another one just like it. We now have 6 tubes and this Griffin 3 is the best. Very easy to get it flying outside the wake!
