This project is insane! You are definitely doing things right. Can't wait to see the rest of it come together.

Of course not. I split time at the lake already. Tired of waiting for fun, going to just make it.

IDK.. morning rant LOL.

I think we are far from stability and perception is reality.
There is so MUCH economic fall out and collateral economic damage yet to come. The countries positive influence businesses are closing, those businesses are not going to be able to fill the financial black holes forming this week.. all of the satellites businesses of the major shut downs are going to have the most challenging of times coming up.
Investors/retirees who thought they were fat, are no longer fat. THAT can be a shock and curtail normal spending.
Add in that we have been led by leadership that values ratings before humanity. It’s a total cluster f in Washington.

IMH, non educated opinion, I think we all have a lot of time left to choose when to invest while the economy sits bouncing near the bottom for the foreseeable future. When it does take off again this spring/summer, it will be a rocket ship.

Robert McNamara once said, “if you are damned if you do or damned if you don’t. It’s better to be damned if you don’t..
When America shows a pulse and signs of safe cohabitating , that’s the time for me.

It will be a rough ride for awhile as the Covid-19 effects on people and the global economy continue to trickle down and will continue to be experienced as collateral damage long after this virus runs it’s course.

We as a society love to think linearly whether it’s global warming, the stock market, or the time value of money. In reality it’s an up and down ride as we search for the general pattern we desire whether that’s increasing, decreasing, or running to the finish line with no detours.

Fear is certainly the enemy and education can help quell those fears. Looking forward, there will be some fantastic opportunities in the midst of tragedy. Those who have positioned themselves well will be able to seek those opportunities out and act on them while riding out the roller coaster of risk.

In terms of market investments, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin likened the current selloff to 1987. “For long-term investors, this will be a great investment opportunity,” he said.
The big difference, of course, is that 1987 was almost a purely technical selloff. Coronavirus will have a very real impact on the economy and the earnings of publicly traded companies. That may already be priced into the market valuation, but it’s also important to remember that the Dow’s third-largest decline ever came on Oct. 13, 1987, a week after Black Monday. It dropped 8% that day, and was a real test for everyone who had bought after the crash.
It may be a good time to buy, but don’t expect it to be easy.
