New in SC
Hello mates
I am a new Cobalt owner and fairly new to boating.
Picked up a 2006 Cobalt 240 with a 496. 270 hours and in fine shape with service record. Very excited and happy about owning this boat.
Any ideas or good cheats on how to get the most out of the interior space and max out the fun I’m all ears.
We are a family of 4 with 2 kids in college. So lots of visits from friends for skiing and cruising expected.
We are on lake Keowee with a slip and lift
Look forward to leaning more from you all
Thanks
Jmack

Hey Jmack. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!
One idea to maximize space is to get an aqua lilly, stack mat, or some type of extension off the back of the boat. We really enjoy ours. Even a blow up one could be fun for ya'. What does your swim platform look like. We have one platform plus an extra extended one which really "lengthens" the boat while on the water.
If you are tubers, the 2 person Warbird chariot is the bomb with it's turned up sides for some extreme tubing. We own two of them.
Others will chime in shortly.
Thanks for posting pics.
Again, welcome aboard mate!

Bbp has made quite a bit of progress from those early days of “bbp speak”

Reading bbp’s answers for about 7 years now, I’m guessing that is a coat one wears just before operating a locomotive. But hey, that’s just me.
