Post by NautiGirl »

Playing with a new photo editor so I'll start this new month off with these. Lake bound now... Harvey rains should move out tomorrow for a good Labor day weekend! Everyone enjoy the weekend. Stay safe!

Cool pictures Katie! Here's how I'm spending my Friday evening at the lake. A cold beer, a hot fire, and a great day!

38? You better put that beautiful boat up and get your snowmobile dusted off my Nordic friend.

It's getting cold here too. I think it's supposed to get down to 68 tonight

Nice pics, Nauti!

We are at Rough River waiting on the remnants of Harvey to get out of here.

Boat pics later.

And Ytsman, that fire would have been nice last night. We don't have any heat at our lake place!

Mr. Nautigirl here. Today was just replacing the two tower speakers. Nothing serious, the originals were still on the boat when we bought it. They were 10 years old, one wasn't working and they both looked rough. We replaced them /w some MB Quart's. Nothing fancy, went budget not super high end for the towers.

Also tweaked the levels on the amp's a bit, the channel the bow speakers is on was set way lower than the other channels so fixed that. Also messed /w the crossover frequency on the tower speakers to get a bit more low end up there.

The speakers in the boat are all Kicker, I am guessing also original. Surrounds on a few are getting rough, I would guess we have a few more years before we have to replace them. At that point will most likely do JL Audio.

Thx for the update, Jeff.

That will be our spring project next year. Great to hear what you are doing. I'm also a JL Audio fan.

I'm not a big bass guy and kicker is very big on the bottom end. If you can afford to upgrade sooner don't wait it's worth it.
