.
Wow
That’s a shame. Another poster on the site had a similar issue but the window door gap actually widened and the window hatch fell through from too large of a gap. :(

it started to get narrow last year and has progressively gotten worse.
Dealer will have Cobalt rep involved but have to lug it back to them - 200 miles

Possibly the brace is bent as result of someone pushing. Touch at the top?
I’d remove the brace and reshaped it to align the port and starboard windows.

Remove it. Draw it out on some paper so you know your base line angle. Give it 1/8 inch and try it.

We had the opposite problem out of the factory. It wouldn't close properly. Dealer filed it down a litte.

I placed a plastic shim (1/4 inch ) under the brace that you may notice in the picture. it alleviated the problem for a period of time but it bothers me that it seems to be progressing

Yes that would be irritating.

Id image the brace has lost its tension yield then, and allowing the window to drop. I would think it would stay unless the main window pressure is pushing or bent.
Id still attempt to remove the brace and examine how much down pressure the window assembly has, then re shape the brace accordingly.

Also make sure the port side isn't actually dropping as well as it hold the fold over portion.

No window is perfect and getting to close is the goal right?

This happened to us off and on all summer on our '21 CS23. Brought to the dealers attention but they weren't too responsive about it. I noticed that heat affects it. Warmer=less likely to close.

We had that happen on our 232. Turned out the screws on the upper part of the windshield where it meets the 'A' pillar were loose, causing the windshield to move inwards.

Have this same issue, 19’ R7, it seemed to get worse all summer, I don’t believe it is just the windshield because when you close the windscreen down below, it’s also getting tighter. In the habit of opening that first to stretch it out so I can get the window to close fully. At the dealer now, I’ll let you know what they say. Have you had yours looked at by the dealer?

I'm still waiting...they wanted a "water test", and looks like I won't need that now, seemed like an odd request. FYI

Good thing it's off season!
