Engine alarm but what?

Greetings
Our 2020 R-5 has the Volvo Penta I/O 300HP engine and all has been running well.
Yesterday, upon returning to dock, we got an intermittent alarm and the EVC unit
shows a yellow engine light. Looking at the instruments, I saw oil pressure at 46 psi(idle),
engine temperature 163 (normal), fuel 90%, oil level, power steering fluid level, engine
coolant: all looked OK. The only thing I noticed was the batteries seems a bit low reading
voltage at 12.2 V.

When I got back on the boat lift, I ran a fresh-water flush (idle, of course), and the alarm
did not sound off. The yellow "check engine" still seems to be lit on the side EVC monitor.
However, I did notice that the batteries were showing the 13.6 V status, which I considered
normal.

Without the Volvo Easy Connect module installed (I am sure it isn't a Cobalt standard, HiHi?)
or having a Volvo technician read the engine codes, does anyone know if I can troubleshoot this? That driver-side
engine monitor doesn't have any capability to help me, or does it? I am wondering if the check engine
light will remain lit even of the fault was a temporary, perhaps a low voltage alarm or other sensor?

Possible water pressure at idle. Then it was compensated by the flush hose?
Hard to tell without a scann tool.
Disconnect the batteries for 30 minutes and try again?
And warranty is a wonderful thing to use but I understand your in your lift so if it returns just take it in.

I would think the alarm would display on the EVC screen at the time you hear the audible alarm. You should also have the EasyConnect. Its main function is as a gateway to interface with the Glass Panel. Look to see if it appears as a Bluetooth device on your phone. You'll need to download the app as well. It is a garbage app but it may work for you.
12.2V is normal at rest (engine off) and 13.6 when running.

Thanks all for weighing in on this.

I found several interesting references in the Volvo Penta manual:

"Faults List
NOTICE!
In Glass Cockpit Displays, the faults are listed in
Warning Manager. For information about how to deal
with the fault messages in Warning Manager, see the
integrated Glass Cockpit Operator`s Manual. Go to
Info > Owner`s Manual to see the manual in the
display or download the latest manual on
www.garmin.com."


And, perhaps, even more interesting on the buttons and indicators
on the side mount throttle/control:

"This window has three icons that will light, based
on driveline input;
Neutral position. The symbol shows that the drive
is not in gear.
The triangle icon lights up if the EVC system has
registered a fault; refer to Fault Code Register for
information.
The MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) lights up if the
engine’s emission control system has registered a
fault.
At engine start, with the ignition on and the engine
not running, the MIL will light on the control. This is
a test of the MIL and does not indicate faults with
the engine. The MIL will disappear when the engine
is running. If the MIL stays on when the engine is
running, engine faults are present. See an
authorized Volvo Penta dealer for fault diagnosis."


From this, I see that if the MIL (engine icon, amber light) remains
lit, the fault is with the engine's emission control system, which
won't be identified thru the EVC or the Warning Manager. It would
have to go in for diagnostics.

Get it scanned.

One of the reasons I bought a RInda Diacom was so that I didn't have to bring it into the dealer for stuff like this even though I have a warranty.
