Anyone know what number/style LED replacement bulb takes the place of the red/green bow light?
Thanks.

BB replaced his on page one of the upgrade thread but he didn't say what the bulb is. I'd like to do the same thing.

I replaced mine earlier this year. My stock bulb was a #71 bulb. Check the length of your stock bulb, I think mine was 30mm. If you search for #71or festoon led replacement you should see a couple different style led bulbs. Just make sure it has the correct length. I went with one like this.

While away, I found this one. It has 180 degrees of light. http://www.dashzracing.com/1-x-31mm-de3 ... light.html
The one that B is showing projects on one side. Is that enough to project to both sides if mounted forward?
Also which color are you guys using? 3.1K or 6K?
Thanks.

Actually you don't want it too bright or you won't see the red or the green. It will just look white. You only need it to project forward. With a normal light bulb that assembly gets really hot.

Heat is the reason Iโ€™m getting rid of the incandescent bulbs. The thing will burn your hand if you touch it.
Thanks for the pic B.

Yep exactly the reason here. Even if accidentally turned on and one of the kids touched it it's going to leave a Mark.
