I saw this unusual emblem on a 2003 262. Does anybody know if it is legitimate? Was it some special option offered that year or a special model?

Can't say I ever saw one either. Is it plastic like the letters. May have to call the dealer.

I dig it. It's the kind of thing I would just to make people wonder!

Those are very cool looking....however, no, not a Cobalt product on the 262 or 263 series (or any series for that matter).

It does add a certain touch of American'ism (such as the american flag on my dad's '69 Donzi that I remember as a kid) to the boat.

I'll order a couple and see how they look.

$6 - $8 bucks on FleaBay:

.

Thanks. Happy New Year to you.

When I pressed the owner about it he admitted the boat had been damaged and he didnt want to pay for the correct emblems. He seemed like a shadey character. I watched him try to sell it on Ebay then on Craigslist, but only posted for 2 days.

He was cheap.
