I never added insulation, I believe most of the noise is combustion and exhaust. The rear hatch already has sound absorbing material, so I am not sure adding more will provide any benefit.

Thanks for all the help. I will review the measurement of items in the responses and let everybody know if one fits. Cobalt has only provided parts for the full windlass, not just the bail.

Completely user error, I hit the front of a dock and bent the bail. The existing one is still functional, but I prefer an undamaged one. It is possible the existing one can be bent back to shape with some skill.

Fortunately, the anchor in the picture is not mine, I used that picture for reference.

I am looking to replace the bail portion of my windless on a 2021 R7. Part circled in red below. Ideas on the part number or where to source, it has been difficult to get any info from Cobalt except to buy the entire windlass.

If it is a Garelick seat base then I expect the dimensions to be the same. It was a very easy swap using just a ratchet set. I can provide measurements from front to back and side to side if it would help. I won't be at the boat until Labor Day weekend.

There have been a number of posts regarding lack of leg room on the driver seat in the R7/R8 platform. I changed out the factory Garelick slider with the linked below Garelick product, and a couple of inches of slide length was added. It is a meaningful difference.

Check Gordy’s Marine, they have the Cobalt sets. Quite pricey pillows!

Does anybody know which Garelick model with the seat slider and swivel is used on 2021 Cobalt R7? I expect prior model years used the same product.

Is the R8 seat design different from the R7 -- I have a 2021 R7 and would like an extra 1-2 inches of seat travel if possible.

It is used primarily for wake boarding.

Maybe I need a longer ski rope which would reduce the severity of the angle.

I have a 2021 R7 with the manual lift wakeboard tower, and full Bimini. When I run a ski rope off of the tower, the rope catches on the back of the Bimini. When I run it through the provided opening in the Bimini, it also catches on the frame. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be pulling back ...

I am the owner of a 2021 R7 with the Volvo Penta 380 engine. Does anybody have a solution to reduce engine noise coming from the compartment? Has anybody tried insulating the firewall and hatch, if so what is it effective? Anything else people have tried?

I may have found a solution to building a new Bimini pole. The web store at the link below has all the parts, and one can be built. I will give it a try and let everyone know how it turns out.
