We just found a Rockford Fosgate service bulletin for this exact issue. There is a software update for the head unit to correct.
It is not easy to access the head unit.... it is located under the passenger floor area accessed ...

I'm having a similar issue and am talking to my dealer about solutions. Luckily on mine, if I already have it on bluetooth, it and the volume control still works. I can reboot and restart 50 times and it doesn't fix it. That said, it will randomly work fine. I'm wondering if the source button is ...
