Bum,
You are very fortunate to have a place with a dock. For the rest of us who would love a boat there, finding a spot to store is super expensive.
When we get the itch, we rent at that place on the other side of 41 from Tin City and head down to Marco to the Snook Inn.

Re: Winter storage and keeping boat on trailer
My trailer has 4 bunks from basically mid front to back, with a center bunk in the front. My boat lives on it.

Re: Trailer tires
So, here I go against all common sense.
I bought a brand new 26’ Classic Dominator race car trailer back in 2001, and it still has the original Good Year Marathons still mounted. The good ones that were once built in Canada. As weird as it is, no cracking, no checking, and still in perfect condition ...

Re: 204 R4 Premium Bimini Top Tips
It shouldn’t be that hard.
My wife puts up our bimini when needed without issue. Maybe spray silicone into the hull mounts for easy snap in.

Nauti , if you are willing to move to WNY for retirement, and become a Bills fan, we can offer you a job as manager of theft, and removed appendage procurement. Your choice. Saw, multi tool, dull hatchet, tablespoon.. Or, whatever else you may prefer. Lots of theft lately and I think a new set of ...

I can see why a golf cart company would build them extra cheap, but torsion bar?

Re: Trailer tires
I went full stop on standard ST trailer tires and went the LT “G” rated route. Overkill should be my middle name, but I have no fears of blow outs tearing up fenders or speed limits anymore.:.

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
The other thing I’m wondering about GM, if they’ve settled out the premature rusting issue?. Especially the frames. The frame under my gmc is looking suspect enough that I took it to Ziebart..I wash top and power wash under the frame a lot. I can’t imagine how bad it could be if I didn’t take ...

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
Right now Ford knows they have the advantage. I ordered a new 23 Limited and it was never built because of a backlog. The MSRP sticker increased between my 2020 (90k)) and the 24 (105k) went up almost $15,000 for the exact spec truck, and you still can’t get it built.

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
As someone who has overloaded their F150 towing I am here for this!
Let me know when class starts.
As always Matt you have demonstrated you have forgotten more about many items that I could ever hope to know.
Unless we are talking Computers / IT / Bourbon or Turtles, then I may win? Maybe ...

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
I guess one can look for a reason. For me it’s experience. There are big reasons Ford and Ram prefer the live axle instead of torsion.

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
I've had three of them as winter trucks in the last 15 years. You can make your own judgement. The ride gets ugly.
I will say that all of them have been extremely reliable, as well as my string of Fords.. Probably because I maintain them to a grade A level myself.

Re: Let's see your Tow rigs with your boat!
personally, I would never buy a diesel engine with today's emission equipment. That's why I bought a gas engine for my 3/4T GMC.
Today’s diesels?
Why waste a good truck on a gas engine? It’s like putt(ng a four banger in a Shelby Mustang.
You don’t know what you are missing. I’ll never own a ...
