For those wondering how this worked out, the dealer adjusted the trailer to get the boat as far forward as possible to get some tongue weight, and it is working out just fine for my needs. Pics below with how it is sitting on the trailer. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Yes, we bought it from Gordys. We don't live on the lake, but a couple blocks off. It is a 2018 220S with the VP 280hp V6 dual props, seagrass flooring, dual batteries, and bimini top. We grew up here and love the area, beautiful lake for sure.

Gordys told me that to add the mat to the swim platform, they would somehow "grind" or sand down the dimples in the swim platform before they stuck it on. Does that sound right? Is it necessary? Or can you just stick it right onto the dimpled platform?

Good so far! We purchased a 2018 220S from them used that was part of their boat club. It has a bimini top and seagrass carpet and 280 VP motor. We love it thus far. Our previous boat was a Crownline and we are excited to own a Cobalt!
