Re: Round Sony remote replacement
Both of those installs look great! This is on my list for next spring for sure. My '14 242 still has the factory Sony unit and helm remote, with no Bluetooth (even after purchasing the JL Bluetooth device from Cruthfield) so I'm stuck using the Aux-In port, which doesn't sound the best.

Re: Best Anchor?
I just upgraded to a mantus m1 8lb anchor on my 232. Could not be happier with the performance. I was a bit unsure whether it would fit in the anchor locker when ordering but fits just fine. Although on the pricey side, would highly recommend.

Re: Round Sony remote replacement
Wow, I really like how those turned out. I had a similar idea, but wanted to flush mount the helm controller. I ended up fabricating a new panel - I tend to do things the hard way. My 232 did not have a stern/swim platform control so I added a wireless fusion control unit. Paired with Fusion head ...

Re: Stereo head replacement 08 242
Thanks! I couldn't find any direct replacement options I loved so decided to go that route. The other great feature with this setup is a wireless control unit that fusion has. Placed it near the stern sunpad. Also enjoying the fusion link app that allows full control from your phone.

Re: Stereo head replacement 08 242
I replaced my 2011 232 head unit and helm control with fusion components. The head unit has a pretty simple adapter plate to fit in the original opening. The helm control was a bit More difficult since it didn't fit in the original hole so fabbed up a new panel and flush mounted the control. Super ...

Re: Stereo Upgrade
I just replaced my factory Sony head unit with a new fusion head unit. The new unit should identify the power, ground, and remote signal. Make connections to the factory harness - this will get you powered up.

Re: Off Season Stereo Build
Nauti, Do you have any pictures of your Amps or speakers installed? I think I am going to install all JL Audio in my boat and our boats are very similar. I'm thinking about buying 2 JL M600/6 amps, 6 M6 in boat speakers, and 2 JL tower speakers. Did you mount your amps on the lower half of the ...
