I had this problem, turned out the wire to the sensor was perforated, in fact sometimes my boat wouldn't start, my computer said that the trim was too high. I had the sensor, wires and pump replaced on the 2013 242.

We love the Mission, great customer service. Kids love it. packs nicely, store it in stern storage box. These things are a little work to get inflated and deflated on the lake with some wavy water but gets easier once you get the hang of it. They are pretty heavy too.

United Marine Underwriter is the best coverage and at the best price. They are part of Chubb which is an A+15 AM Best rated carrier. I have State Farm for everything but my boat.

Part Identification
Anybody know what this part is called or part #? (Circled in yellow) It’s a 2013 242. It’s discolored and it bothers me, there is another one on the other side and that one is just fine. Not sure why this happened, it came this way when I bought it. It’s made out of plastic. Not sure what it does ...
