new, happy owner of a 1986 Cobalt 19ft BR. I love this boat, what to restore some things.
Does anyone know how to remove the gas gauge? Sender and gauge need replacing.
Also, what are the buttons on the right side of the throttle? Left side is to raise and lower the engine, but what ...

What kind of head unit/controller do you have with the speakers? I have a Rockford Fosgate controller with my JL Audio speakers and I can change the source input for each zone of speakers separately. Maybe you just need to switch the input for your tower speakers?

At least I can share a picture for the tangent conversation. Beautiful lake and we enjoyed the week either way.

After a few more conversations, it seems the conclusion is the prop resizing from 18" to 16" is probably about all I can do and our 25SC is pretty much underpowered with the 300hp outboard at the elevation of Lake Tahoe. It's rated for a max of 350hp and I wish it had it, but it doesn't.
