Thanks guys, pretty much my thoughts. Salt water is pretty to look at but doesn't really play well with engines/outdrives

Hello all,
New member here interested in purchasing my first Cobalt. I've narrowed it down to two potential candidates, both 293's. Asking price is the same and differences in equipment is negligible. Choices are:
1997 with 5.7 mercs with BIII'S, just under 400 hrs, fresh water all its life, or
2001 ...
