Re: For my Southern Brothers
Thanks for the info. I have an R5 and this may be a good solution coming off the front of the tower/bimini or going across the rear, depending on the sun angle. We spent quite a bit of time anchored and swimming this past weekend and the extra shade would be welcome.

Re: Shipping
Some of the unknown in my equation was Cobalt ships multiple boats on a trailer and needed to pool a full trailer headed towards my dealer.

Re: Pulling from the pylon and the tower
I have an R5 and pull a 3-person tube and knee board from the pylon. Was initially concerned about the rope dragging through the wake during turns but this has turned out to be a "non issue." Tried the knee board from the tower but the kids liked the pylon better, and it made it was easier to adjust ...

Re: Cobalt Air Compressors
I have the optional air compressor in my 226- it is almost slower than using my breath to pump up tubes for my kids. The thing is a piece of junk- not sure what Cobalt was thinking with this option. Has anyone switched theirs out or have any suggestions besides removing and buying a portable one ...

Re: CS3 ice chest/cooler size?
I have 20.30.40 RTIC soft pack. My 20&30 fit inside the cooler my 40 sits on the cockpit floor. It's not really a big deal for me I put it behind the captains chair and it's out of the way. I actually went out on Sunday and threw in a few hard packs and a large bag of ice and the ice is still ...

Re: CS3 ice chest/cooler size?
I decided to roll the dice and ordered an RTIC softpac 40. It's roughly 17" tall x 18.5" wide x 12" deep. Hoping it fits in the cooler/seat behind the R5 helm. Don't want to carry the hard cooler in the boat anymore. If it doesn't fit I will find a spot for it.

I like the solid lower color because it ties the top/bottom together on the stern. Nice boat and congrats.

Similar to BB, 20 mins to main launch. We dry stack but have a trailer and plan to visit a few sites about an hour away.

Thanks for the comments. Thoughts about the docking lights but skipped them for a few other options. Boat is wired for the lights, maybe something to add in the future.liquid wrote: Mon May 15, 2017 9:09 am That's beautiful. I thought the same thing... no docking lights?

Engine Caution
Thought I would pass on a maintenance experience. We have under 10 hours on the boat and last time out picked up an engine caution light and audio. Went through a few iterations of power down, restarts, and a trip to the fuel pump. Caution was intermittent rest of time out but eventually remained on ...
