Re: Teak removal questions - 2003 262

Thanks! I only did the back and little on the front. My carpet is new so maybe when it wears out? Who knows...
I ordered from aquamarine. This time of year it seems like they're little cheaper than they are in the spring. And it's super super easy to install.

Tape half of it into place ...

Re: Teak removal questions - 2003 262

Ha! Yeah well, originally I was just going to replace the extended deck to get rid of that M. But see how washed out grey looks? Theres no comparison to me, but that's just me. Lots of folks like grey, and on the right boat I think it looks good. But I wanted to swap it all out, so I went ...

Re: Teak removal questions - 2003 262

I’d love to hear how yours has held up since installing. I’ve been looking at options for the exact same setup as you have for my 2004 262. I’m in the same “boat”, pun intended, in that my carpet is good, but no matting on either swim deck or the walkthrough, and the factory texture is getting worn ...

Sorry for the long post and possibly double post. I think I accidentally hit submit before I was done.

Great points/questions Aslan7. I took the Bimini cover off this weekend to put it in the wash. It’s in great shape but needed cleaned.

The tower speakers are Fosgate Wetsounds. I’m actually not ...

.
YeeeeeeHawwww. Another 260 series owner!

I just finished posting about your stereo question in the other thread.

Did the bimini come with your arch? I don’t see it. You’re going to want that if you’re in Oklahoma.

How about transom filler cushions?

Are those Rev 10 or 8’s on the tower ...

Bow Speaker Restoration

Wanted to share my first upgrade to my new/old ‘04 262. I couldn’t find anywhere on the forum where someone has done this, but I’ve seen several older boats with this same issue on the bow speaker covers, so hopefully this is somewhat unique post that will inspire some other older model Cobalt ...

‘04 262

Hello fellow Cobalt owners. I’m so glad I found CC. I’ve already learned so much just reading through the forum. Just got this last Thursday. Only had it out once so far and am dying to get it out again!

I’ve always had Sea Rays and nothing bigger than 20ft. We’ve been finding ourselves wanting to ...

Re: Engine Feedback

I just bought my 2004 262 and am having the exact same issue. The previous owner upgraded in 2017 with JL speakers, sub, amp, and Fosgate Wetsounds tower speakers. The system sounds great but the feedback is driving me crazy when cruising, so I’ll have to try this hack on mine. Does the feedback ...
