That Tower was made locally in Neodesha near the Cobalt plant. Fellow KS guy and just to the West of you, Goddard. First boat was a 96 Crownline 182, sold to get a new 07 Cobalt 220 and attended our first regatta the same year. In 2018 sold it with only 160 ish hours on it to get a 04 Cobalt 262 in 2019 and haven't looked back ...

Beautiful 262! I saved it on marketplace when it popped up. Hope to see you down at TRL next summer, I'm a fellow KS Cobalt owner myself (2006 272).

I highly recommend the 272 from 2005-2008 production years. Exactly same hull bottom and length as the 262 but has a side walk through and rear lounge. I'm a Southeast KS guy myself and proud owner of a 2006 272. Message me if you have any questions. BTW 262s are awesome as well! Iconic model.

I'm a Stockton Lake guy myself. Occasionally TRL. Welcome aboard. Beautiful 262.

2- 10" subs
2- 10" Rev10 tower speakers
3- Wet sounds Amps.
All controlled by a Fusion RA670 head unit with 2 wired ERX400 remotes(helm and stern.)

A 2005 and 2008 are the same flooring layout. That model of 272 was produced from 2005 to 2008. I'd have either company ship you a template to be 100% positive.

Whatever you decide to do with said dealer, I'd get it in writing that they will repair gelcoat at a later date and in a timely manner.

Where did you end up trading at? That dealership doesn't look familiar. Gorgeous R5. Please give us feedback in comparison to your previous 242.

Keep what you have seating wise, flooring would be Seadek or similar company, or you could go with seagrass woven vinyl. Outer armor would be my cover of choice. Let's see more pics of that 262!

My 2006 272 has everything located right in front of the helm in a large storage area. Amps and 2-10" Subs are easy hidden in there and nice and dry.
