Thanks. I have no problem with the swim step it's my wife as she has no real upper body strength and is hampered by a bad knee. I am hoping the R5 swim brackets which will lower the step 3 inches does the trick.

For anyone that is interested there looks like there is a couple of options to address the issues of using the swim step. I contacted cobalt directly and it looks like the brackets for the R5 will work on the R3 and will drop the step an additional 3 inches maybe this will work with an additional ...

Hello everyone, I recently purchased the R3 and am new to this forum. My wife is having issues getting out of the water on the swim step. I welcome any thoughts/opinions on how I can remedy this.
