ISO 1998 Cobalt 233 bucket seat (or seats)
Well,
My wifey sat down on the fold down lumbar part of the passenger bucket seat in our 1998 Cobalt 233 and it broke. So... I'm in search of a seat, or a pair of seats to replace it. If anyone knows of some that are for sale, or if some different year seats would fit without drilling new holes in ...

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
I'll probably get that work done before I go out again. I do have an IR thermometer that I'll put on the boat now. Seems that risers were too hot to touch when this happened and I shut her down right away all three times that it happened when hearing the constant beep, so maybe that's why it didn't ...

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
Wow, thanks for the input guys! Yes, I agree it's probably time for an oil change, as it's pushing a year, although not too many hours on it since last change. Same with fuel filter and impeller. I agree that's it's time to change those, too. As far as engine temp, it seems to be about the same as ...

Re: Replacing Captains Call exhaust solenoids
Thank you! Thought I only saw two wires hanging down, but there are definitely three terminals on the solenoid. I'll look at the wiring again and check Corsa's website.

Replacing Captains Call exhaust solenoids
Hi All!
Well, I have another issue that I thought I should share with everyone. When I bought the boat, (about a year ago in AZ) the previous owner told me he had disconnected the solenoids for the Captain's Call exhaust. Upon inspection one solenoid had been removed and the other was still there ...

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
Not sure when it was last changed. I've had it for about a year, but I can contact the original owner and see if he knows. He should, as he was pretty meticulous with maintenance. It's full, and doesn't seem to be leaking anywhere. Does the oil look too dark? Is it easy to change myself? I'll google ...

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
Great info, thanks everyone! Big Block Power, I will check to see if the float is stuck. Does it make sense to just get a new reservoir, etc since they are pretty inexpensive? Should I change the gear lube oil if I replace the reservoir? Is there a way to check the float without draining the ...

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
Great! Thank you so much for sharing. I have something similar on mine, but it is only on the port side and I can't figure out yet how to add an attachment pic. Sorry!! Could you provide some guidance on how to attach a pic?

Re: 98 Cobalt 233 Continuous Warning Beep
Thank you both for the reply!! I think the drive lube reservoir looked topped off but I will double check. Also, what is a drive shower? Please forgive me for being uninformed about that! I will add a pic of my boat once I get ne uploaded.
