Just took ownership of a 2023 R8 surf. It’s a little to tall to fit on our lift so I have to fold the arch. However, with the arch folded down I don’t see how I can get the cockpit cover on as the arch folds below where the cover goes. What am I missing?

Am thinking about moving up from A28 to an R8 surf, but these threads on catastrophic failures on Volvo powered surf boats is making me nervous. How common of a problem is this?

What did you decide? I too have an A28 and am thinking about upgrading to an R8 surf. Curious if you sold the A28?
