Re: Gauges for Cobalt 240

Thanks for that Cowboy! I'd love to see a photo of the gauge. I've found a compass although, like you, had to pay handsomely for it. Feel free to send a Private Message or post on this means. Many thanks indeed.

Gauges for Cobalt 240

Greetings from the England! I have a Cobalt 240 (2005) and am looking for a compass and trim gauge. New or used would be fine. The compass needs to fit in a dash hole that's 3.3" (85mm) wide and the trim gauge hole is around 2" (53mm). Long and boring story short, the gauges were made by Faria Beede ...

Re: Interior Dash Trim

Hi Big Block,
Vinyl is fine apart from one minor repair three years ago. Next year we'll need to attend to the top of the rear seat which seems to get the most abuse from water skis and other toys being dragged across it. Have been advised by my hydro graphics guy to remake the dash trim in PVC ...

Re: 2005 262 Dash Makeover

Kbloom,
What a fantastic job! Spent four hours yesterday on my 2005 240 removing the wood-effect trim and steering wheel. Helm now resembles a plate of spaghetti!
I struggled with the side panels though (behind the throttle) are they bolted on or clipped? How did you remove them?
Seriously hope ...

Re: Interior Dash Trim

Aslan. Any news on removing the interior trim piece by the throttle? I’m doing it now and wondered whether you know if it is clipped on or bolted from behind?
All the best

Re: Interior Dash Trim

Can see it now! Might have been a little too far to make the trip by Cobalt! They’re good, but not that good!

Re: Interior Dash Trim

Thank you Aslan. That’s very kind of you.
I’m from the North West of England but the boat is kept in Croatia - a bit more sun down there!

Interior Dash Trim

Morning everybody! Greetings from England.
I have a 2005 Cobalt 240. The wood veneer dash behind the gauges is warping after an epic storm followed by intense heat. I’ve decided to remove and repair all the veneer panels, including the side trim panels (one behind the throttle, the other by ...
