Re: Cobalt 220 gas cap

Just finished that job from the previous owner had started. They had bought a new filler assembly for a replacement cap. Problem was the cap didn't fit perfect in the original assembly.

It took my wife's small hands and both of our patience to swap it out through that incredibly small access hole ...

Deck Latch Gasket

I've reached the limit of my Google ability and am hoping one of you may know where I can source replacement gaskets for the deck latches on my 2005 220.

I've tried to rehab the ones on the boat, but they continue to leak inky black gasket material every time I clean.

My next option is new ...

Recommended Cool Fuel Filter Replacements

Hi all,

Quick question, has any one used any quality aftermarket fuel filter replacements for the Gen 3 cool fuel module that they can recommend?

Thanks

Congrats and welcome to the black brigade! Sorry no fishing allowed ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜”
Do you know the maint history and what's been done.

Funny enough, it's not black but navy, the photo makes it look black though.

I was able to get the last major maintenance record from 2017. In addition to a thorough ...

Trailering - Rear tie-down points

Hi all,

New cobalt owner here with an '05 220. What I'm unsure of are the acceptable rear tie down points for the boat. The 220 of this year has the usual transom tie down points, but the extended swim platform also has tie down points integrated.

The standard transom points don't seem ideal as ...

New Member - '05 220 our first Cobalt

Hi all,

We bought our first Cobalt the other week and were able to get out for a single cruise before we had to winterize. I look forward to picking your brains over the winter as we wait to get her back on the water.
