Re: 2021 R8 Toilet Operation
Can you find a name on it? Maybe you can search the manufacture's website?

Re: 2019 R3 - 20 second Beep Alarm?
The boat will start because if the person is overboard you want the remaining people on board to start engine and be able to rescue person overboard.
I get it. It’s not like my Sea Doo where the lanyard is both a key and a safety cut off for when the operator falls off. It would be nice if ...

Re: 2019 R3 - 20 second Beep Alarm?
It was the lanyard. I must have knocked it off when I rotated the captains chair. My question is, why does the boat start when the lanyard isn’t in?

2019 R3 - 20 second Beep Alarm?
Hi All,
My VP350 Garmin unit has just started emitting a beep tone every 20 seconds. The beep will sound even with the engine off and ignition on. Engine gem is normal, oil pressure is 45psi at idle. The only problem I can identify is a faulty trim switch which is causing the gauge to jump around ...

Re: R6 bow filler cushion
Maybe use velcro strips to attach the cushions to the base? It's a bit strange that they don't come attached.

Re: Considering a Cobalt R3
I purchased a 2019 R3 new (in 2019) with a VP350. It has been an excellent boat (now with 108 hours). It has not needed any repairs and the build quality is rock solid. You won't regret purchasing a Cobalt. As to engine power, the power curves for the VP 300 and 350 are pretty similar until ...

Re: R6 Vibration at lower RPM and lack of speed
I'd have a careful look at the props. I had a tiny dent (about the size of a baby finger nail) in one of the blades that produced vibration in the same rpm range you mentioned. Once that was corrected the vibration went away.

Re: VP Throttle Unresponsive
Maybe just a dirty contact from sitting over the off season. But hey it's telling You to go buy the surf boat! Lol
Glad my bb has a cable! Hammer down!
Talking to tgrace98 did you start it in gear as that will cause what you had.
Thanks for the reply, it was started in neutral. It was a bit ...

VP Throttle Unresponsive
HI All,
Had a weird experience this weekend with our R3 (VP 350). =Dealer dropped our boat into the water at the lake on Friday and I idled it to the slip and tied it up.
That evening, my daughter and I took the boat out through a no wake zone (at idle) and I heard a periodic beep with a yellow ...

Re: R5 - R6 Performance Numbers
Brining this one back to life. We are looking at a possible R5 upgrade. I love the idea of the big block, assuming BBP will let me join the club, I believe there is an admission process, forms to fill out, may even be a vote to get in.
That said BobRae it looks like the 8.2 Merc/Bravo 3X ...

Re: R3 - engine size
I have the VP350 in our 2019 R3. It's top end is a bit higher than with the 300HP version, but if you look at the HP/Torque curves for both engines, if memory serves, they are the same up to 4,00RPM after which the 350 continues to climb and the 300 flattens out. I think you would be fine with the ...

Re: R6 Surf Transom Tie Downs
Looks like there was space to move that trim tab a bit to the right - not sure why the guy bolting them on didn't see what we all seem to see...
It looks like the angle that the hydraulic ram is on, it is already pretty tight at the top end. It might not install correctly if the tab was moved ...
