Re: Volvo Penta V8-380 Coolant Flush
Thanks. The tech inspected the coolant and said it looked good (no gelling, etc) so no need to flush. I'll have then check again next year. Spring can't come soon enough...

Volvo Penta V8-380 Coolant Flush
Hey All - Got a service / maintenance question for y'all.
Boat is hauled out for full drive service. Curious how often folks flush their coolant in these fresh water cooling engines. VP recommends every 200hrs or every 4 yrs, but I don't hear much about people doing it. People seem to mention engine ...

Flooring / Sea Grass Replacement
Hey All - a few years back I saw a number of forum members recommended SnapInCarpet as a vendor for flooring replacement. I recently purchased a 2013 302 that has the original carpet. I'd like to replace it with something similar to the Sea Grass Cobalt uses from the factory.

Never in salt water
Only used a few times a year for servicing my A28 as I have a wet slip
This is much more tailer than a A28, A29, R6, R7, R8, or 272 would require, but will also provide more stable ride with 3 axles and larger/stronger tubes/structure.

Re: 2016 Cobalt A28 (highly optioned, very low hours)
Not a current forum member, but I'm sure we can 'initiate' them. Buyer is super excited about Cobalt quality and knowledgeable about why A28s are unique (I know I'm bias). They are moving up from a smaller Chaparral and I think the A28 is perfect for them. We had a fantastic final cruise tubing ...

2013 302 Windlass Model
Hey 302 owners, Hoping someone can confirm which Maxwell windlass model came from the factory on 302s. I'm trying to confirm what chain and rope size is compatible. Looking at the Maxwell site, I assume Coablt used the Maxwell RC8 (5/16" chain) but it could also be the smaller RC6 (1/4" chain). Also ...

Re: 2016 Cobalt A28 (highly optioned, very low hours)
Only entertaining selling as we're interested in larger twin engine models. It's been a great boat for us and I still think its the best single engine Cobalt.
Yes, this has the 6.0L. I believe the top speed is around 53mph, but not 100% certain.
