Re: Cleaning Black Plastic - Helm & Storage Areas
I'm really not sure what "stained" it. The pictures above are actually not from my boat, but looks really similar to mine. Especially the larger spot on the port side storage unit trim. May be a greasy finger print.

Cleaning Black Plastic - Helm & Storage Areas
I have a Cobalt R3 with black plastic trim to the sides of the steering wheel and around the port side storage area. It has some spotting that I'd like to get cleaned off. Any ideas on what to use? Armor All? other? Thanks! John

Glass Cockpit - Intermittently Not Powering On
I have a 2020 R3 with the Garmin Glass Cockpit displays. On occasion, the displays are not powering on. This started this season, it had never happened before.
It is very intermittent, to the point where I am not seeing any pattern. Sometimes they work perfectly. Sometimes they will power on after ...

Re: Garmin 7607 microSD Cards & Slots
Thanks, for the update cvx16. Too bad for lack of future support on the 7607, but that's how tech goes. I guess it is time for a new boat!

Updates: Every time I update my printer; I have to re-figure out how to use it.
Every time I update my phone, there's something there that I didn't want or like.
Every time I update my computer, something changes, even if it's nothing but making it slower.
I'm afraid to update my Gamins ...

Re: Garmin 7607 microSD Cards & Slots
Hello! I have some questions that have been bugging me for a couple of weeks. I have a 2020 R3 with the dual Garmin 7607 glass cockpit units. I was able to successfully update the firmware on both units, but to be honest, was making a few guesses/assumptions along the way.
Since there are 2 ...

Mine is a Volvo. I also believe it is getting harder to press, but that could be my imagination.

Re: Trim Button Sensitivity
Yes, it is Volvo. I will ask my dealer to check it out. It seems a physical problem, as if the rubber trim button is not making good contact, so requiring a hard press. Thanks for the help!

Trim Button Sensitivity
Hello. I have a 2020 R3, and the trim button is really tough to engage. It takes a heck of a press, whether raising or lowering the outdrive. Any suggestions in improving the sensitivity? Thanks, John
