Thank you to all who replied. Took it back to the Cobalt dealer and they are going to repaint the outdrive. They were less than happy, with zero apologies for the trouble and another 4 hour drive time investment for the drop off and eventual pick up, but hopefully it will be right the second time ...

And leading edge looks like they completely missed painting it?

Had the dealer refinish the props and one of them has flared edges, but the other doesn’t? I’ve never seen one that looks like this….have you?

As for the outdrive, my expectation was a better finish. Doesn’t look like they sanded anything which left previously existing deep scratches in finish ...

I’ll be having the transom assembly replaced on our boat this winter. Leaving cost out of the equation, is this a repair best performed by a Cobalt dealer or an independent mechanic? The independent noted engine out as part of the work so that got me wondering which is best given that it’s a fairly ...

Having never been on a boat with SeaDek, what specifically about it is nicer than the carpet? Or is it juat that the carpet was very old?

Congratulations Homeskillet! Looks great! We also just had SeaDek installed in our 276 in the last few weeks, and agree that it’s a “game changer”. Soooo much nicer than the carpet that came with the boat when we bought it a few months ago!

We have a 20lb. box anchor for our 276 that we used for the first time last weekend. Sourced via Amazon for $95+ tax delivered. Worked like a champ!

Just bought these off of Amazon after seeing how well a similar product worked on a friend’s boat. Two different sizes available. These are the larger of the two. Water bottle is for scale reference. Pro $69, V4 $49.

Thanks gents! Won’t need to install as came from the factory with them, just looking to pick up a few more of the pins for alternate fenders.

Picking up a few more of these for additional Babz fenders that I ordered, but looking to confirm if they are 3/8” or 1/2” versions for our Cobalts? Thanks in advance!

I’m at a loss as to why this has appeared? Tried Hot Sauce on it but that did zero. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

These are another good option for both docking and tying up with other boats. We use (3) for both scenarios. Available on Amazon as well.
