Thanks!jhnmdahl wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:41 amYes, there's just too much area for cloth to sag. The poles are almost a necessity if the cover is used outdoors to prevent rain from pooling up.Anchor86 wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:32 am Thanks for the responses. Have one on the way finally. Does water pool if the supports straps and poles are not used?

Re: R7 acting a little weird
We just had same issue with our `20 R7. We replaced the blue sea automatic charging relay (ACR) box mounted behind the battery switch. It automatically adjusts voltage between the 2 batteries. $65 and easy to swap out . I swapped the relay out prior to this and still had displays going out and ...

Re: Lift bunk?
Thanks,
Boat is on lift with bunks set previously which is dead center between my trailer bunks. I have about 4” of clearance between hull and lift beam, so I could widen the bunks a couple inches if that would matter .

Lift bunk?
Setting up lift bunks for my R7. The photo is from my trailer. Should I try to match up with one of these? Currently my lift bunks, as set for old Searay , , would be dead center between the 2 trailer bunks.
Thank you

Lift Bunk Spacing for R7
Hello, hoping someone has the measurement for how wide the bunks are on their lift for a R7.
Will be going on this lift , bunks are currently 37” outside edge to outside edge for my 23’ SeaRay . Just bought the R7 and it’s going into storage instead of onto lift
Thanks!

Search officially ended today. Just 1100 miles to get it home. 2020 R7 exactly what we were looking for. Marinemax Nisswa, MN was great to deal with. Had it surveyed , with sea trial, and made the 1100 mile , one way, drive from NY. Boat had been completely detailed inside and out as part of ...

Hello from northern NY
Decided to upgrade our ‘99 SeaRay 230 about a year ago. Always loved the look of the R series and started looking but I’m in SeaRay and Chaparral country. Finally decided to go with the R7 and after 5 months of daily searching(literally) and reaching out to the Cobalt dealers in the northeast, found ...
