Here's my September pics.
I could include a pic of an oil change, nut these were more fun.

It's a boise state thing as well. BSU colors and the local malibu dealer had a malibu in those colors.

Re: Draining the tank
You have an access hatch somewhere. Trick is to find it. You can also probably connect a pump to the supply hose and draw it out that way.
I'm leaving the tank empty this year. I'll fog it with a mix of ethanol free, stabil and 2 stroke oil.
All the remaining gas has been treated so it's good to ...

Re: Labor Day Weekend, 2018
Made it out today. Lake is down 25 feet from a few weeks back and is dropping 2' per day.
Looks beachy with levels. And by the looks on yours sons face “ it’s all good “ !
That smile says it all SB555!

Made it out today. Lake is down 25 feet from a few weeks back and is dropping 2' per day. All courtesy docks on the lake will be dry by next week and as such, launching with kids and a wife with a bum knee will be unlikely. Maybe we will take a road trip to McCall instead.

Re: Labor Day Weekend, 2018
Weekend has been a bust so far. Saturday turned I to chore day and yesterday boys didn't want to go on boat. Going to try again in a few minutes.
Momma is at work so it is just us boys and at 52 degrees out, it's a little chili to start. I would rather go out later. But I fear no parking at the ...

Re: Stereo head unit upgrade
I'm not worried about marine vs auto. Our boat is trailered and none of the amps are marine units.
I think on my CPS unit with the current head unit, only the volume and source work. That's what I want anyway. Have thought about changing the remotes, but then I would have ugly holes.

I have the 610. I'm thinking of going to the 100. Might sell mine but really they are not that expensive
Is the 100 a step up from the 610?
Just a few. There's about 4 of them on here.
Will it work with the normal wired remotes thay Cobalt used? Couldn't find reference to it as I ...

Re: Really?? Is it already August... Pics!
Looks like you had a great time. 👍🏻 Nice catch!
It was fun. Wish the king was a bit bigger and the halibut a bit smaller. In all honesty, I don't know if i could have reeled in a halibut in the upper size slot. That one was about 48" and just about broke me. Upper slot starts at 55 or 58"

Re: Really?? Is it already August... Pics!
It looks cold there. And just from the lines on your face you smile a lot, and I already like you!
It was in the 50s constantly. Only fluctuated a few degrees. But when coming out of temps in the 90s, 50s is pretty cool. And it rained the majority of the time.
But it was fun as my smile ...

Not my boat and not a cobalt.
But spent the day fishing out of Sitka, AK after taking a day off of work. Hooked one halibut, but it was too large to keep. Caught a kind that was .5" to small. Caught a bunch of nice Coho salmon.

I tow up. Ours is strapped to the tower and doesn't use support pole.

Can still get both, but want to get one to install over the winter to add bluetooth.
