Re: Boat Bling Products
My experience with the Hotsauce for water spot was awful. It streaked and left swirls like crazy. My boat is black so maybe that's part of it. I talked to Boat Bling and they said "hmmmm never heard of that. Good luck". I don't know if it was the color, a wax I used, or a bad batch, but it will ...

Re: Trim Level
What trim level do you use to put a 220 onto the trailer. I know the trailer type, ramp angle etc might make a difference but just curios.

Re: High hours on a boat?
No real advice here but my two cents worth: I don't worry about the hours on my boat. I bought it to use it. When my wife says she wants to ride, we ride. I do make sure maintenance is up to date and the boat looks new inside and out. As far as 100k miles on a car, in my life I've purchased at ...

Re: Trim Level
I have a similar boat (23 cs22 w/ same engine) - but the digital readout for the trim is useless. By the time it reads over 0, the outdrive has been held down for 7 seconds and is a third of the way up. Does yours also seem to do that?
My 220 has a dedicated analog trim gauge to go with the ...

Re: Anchor for 220BR
Even though I removed the chain I’d recommend using one with a Richter. With my setup the chain makes no difference and there are other advantages to not having it. I’m anchoring a 220s so not that heavy and with a little less wind profile.

Re: Anchor for 220BR
After having removed the chain, the wifey chucks the 25 pound Richter over, gives it about three arm lengths and done. So if anyone is a rookie it’s her. Her cleat hitch is immaculate though.
