Interested in this thread as I am trying to get my wave perfected in my 2021 R8 Surf. What is TPM stand for? Trim? Thanks, in advance.



We have found that the lower the TPM the smaller the wave and the higher the TPM the higher the wave. To lengthen the wave we go a little faster. We usually ...

I have a new 2023 R4 surf. My trim assist stays and -5 as well. Did you get any help with this? When i manually trim anything higher than 2 it porpoises. Also fuel gauges did not work and lots of errors with surf gate not activating.


Same issues with surf gates / trim staying at -5 on 2023 R8 ...

Ours lasted over 2 years or so on the same lake. Futrell got me another one under warranty. I haven't installed it yet and have found that I may not install it as it will break again. I still have it in the bag and will install it when I sell the boat, which at my age, may be never.

Had a few weeks with the boat. Looking for more ways to customize the wave.... we have been simply filling ballasts and selecting either surf right/left and adjusting speed between 10.8 and 11.6.

What are the recommendations for boat lifts? May be pulling the trigger on a 2023 R8 Surf over the weekend.

Currently have a 2008 212 that Im sure the slip and lift will not be compatible with a much larger boat.

Any information you could share TIA
