Re: Impeller Issues
I had to replace my housing after an impeller change. The inner part was grooved and burned blue around the diaphragm. They may want to check that. I have a VP 300 V8. It took three tries to get it right, the bigger of the two dealerships (Okoboji) sees the problem more so it could be happening with ...

Re: Raw Water Pump Seal Leaking - Easy Fix
I had to replace the entire pump. It failed after I replaced the impeller, hard to explain to the dealership but they came and got my boat and towed it 90 miles to their shop. It was really disconcerting as my check engine alarm would go on leaving the marina. It would run for three minutes and then ...

Re: DuoProp Align / Clocking
Late to the party here, but had to have a new prop installed and the guy who did it said nothing about this issue. He’s an old timer that changed my prop for $20. Sent the old one off to get rebuilt, it had a tear in the hub and I have no clue how it happened.

I enjoy his videos. Trying to justify buying a buffer like he uses. Just have a random orbital for now. I am scared of messing up my clear coat so that’s the main reason I haven’t upgraded.

Re: Which 220S?
I’ve got a 2016 220s with the 300. It’s quite a bit of power. I open ours up going across the lake and it kind of zips a bit too much for me. I’m cautious when I pull tubers too. Having the easy drain would definitely be a plus, but buy the condition first is my advice.

Re: R5 Swim platform/Gator Step
Does anyone know how well Gator Step holds up vs. the stock mat on the swim deck? My dog scratched it up. Swim socks fell off her, and I may have her nails trimmed this summer. She loves swimming so it’s kind of a bummer not to include her.

Re: CS22 in Rough Water
Do you trim up your outdrive? The lake I boat on gets windy for the rest of the boating season, and I’m looking for a few tips in rough water. I’ve got a 220 with the Volvo 300 hp.

Re: New rockford fosgate problems
Think the reset will help with a dead amp? I’ve got no light on my main speaker amp. No sound, only the sub gets power and makes noise.
Any solutions to get the amp back on?
Fixed it. Loose power wire. Figured it all out with a voltmeter.
Did a factory reset by mistake. Anyone know if they ...
