This button is not part of the official Cobalt 360 build. Previous owner installed it. To figure out remove the mirror in your head (marine term for the toilet). You will find lotsa interesting things there. Trace wires from that button and find out what it is. Welcome to the forum!

They can be serviced. OEM brass material is a soft metal, so sand, debris etc. "eat up" the metal when sucked into the pump. Hardin marine builds them out of SS and they have inserts front and back of impeller (when worn can be changed). Hardin sells service kits. They are better built them OEM ...

Anybody has an opinion based on personal experience. Trying to weight cost/longevity/durability/ease of repair scratches.
I got couple of quotes from local companies - paint is two to four times more then the wrap. Anybody?

On Cobalt 360 they are just pulled out by fingernails (not glued in or anything), on the back there is a red and black wires. I had one wire being pulled out by the weight of the harness. I've pushed it back into the black casing od the LED light and voila - business as usual.

I can not belive me eyes - the Airmar Transducer was "hiding" beneath the wet mufler from Kohler 5e! We went through the whole boat 3 times! Mystery solved!

Found original manuals for TANKWATCH and updated my file accordingly.
