Re: Fuse box
The dealership was very helpful with explaining the location. It’s an in line fuse. I replaced it and it worked perfectly afterward. I’ll post pictures in case someone else runs into the same issue.

Fuse box
Does anyone have a picture of where the fuse box is located on 2024 R4 surf. I think my swim platform fuse may have blown. I see the panel near the battery but dealership mentioned a fuse panel in the engine compartment

Re: Boat Covers
Thanks. I haven’t seen that. I’ll look into it! I had snaps on another boat and I agree it’s not any quicker.

Boat Covers
I have a R4 surf that during the summer we leave at our lakehouse on the boat lift. We have a mooring cover that came with the boat and it is great. However, I am looking for something that is quicker to put on and off for those days that we will be out there for several days in a row. It becomes ...

Re: R4 Surf Wave
So after playing around for a day, the wave is substantially bigger than the CS23. I’m not sure how my CB of that is weight vs the surf gate rather than the tabs on our previous boat but it’s got much more push and height. It does take longer to form compared but we knew that coming in. There was a ...

Re: R4 Surf Wave
I’ll update for sure. Kids soccer this afternoon so hope to ride this evening. Had a hiccup this morning as soon as I put it in the water. Screen wouldn’t display ballast controls but my dealer was able to help over the phone and we got it figured out. How careful was everyone during the break in ...

Re: R4 Surf Wave
Thank you. Just picked up the boat today and plan to get it in the water tomorrow and through the weekend. Excited to see how the kids do with the wave compared to the cs23. I can already tell the boat is bigger and will sit differently in the water just based on driving it home on the trailer.

Re: R4 Surf Wave
Any changes to the wave after more experimentation? I am picking up my 24 R4surf today. Going from a CS23 surf to an R4 surf and curious if you still use the present wave or have changed the trim etc. My kids are 7,11, and 13. Do you fill the ballast all the way or partially depending on age and ...

Who has experience with R4 surf?
I am likely upgrading to a new R4 Surf and having difficulty gathering information or reviews from other owners. I currently have a CS23 surf that we enjoy but, frankly, does not have enough storage, and I feel as the kids get older and bigger, the R4 would serve us for more years to come. My lift ...

Re: Anchor Light on tower
Thanks! I have a wire puller. As for the plugs, I have not seen those. The tower is a folding tower. I may just go out there and fold the tower down and see if the wires enter at that point. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Re: Anchor Light on tower
There in lies the problem. Whoever took the light off took the entire apparatus off and the wires are in the tower. I’m just going to have to wait until my boat guy can get to me. Thanks for all the replies though!

Re: Anchor Light on tower
Thank you.. You are correct that the top part (the light) unscrews which I assume will give me access to the screws. The assembly on the tower is simply holes drilled into the tower and the part in the picture simply sits on top of the tower. I will try to take better pictures this weekend.

Re: Anchor Light on tower
There is not a plug on the under side of the tower. There is a hole for the wires on the top, and two small holes on each side. I think I can take the top off to access how to screw in the small bolts. However, I cannot feel the wires inside the tower (albeit I cannot reach far). Was not sure if ...

Anchor Light on tower
New to the board! I purchased a 2022 cobalt cs23 surf in October. The anchor light on the tower had been damaged when I purchased the boat. They mailed me a new light and I am looking for help to install. My boat guy is covered up and frankly has more important jobs than installing a light so it may ...
