Let us know how it goes! The only other wake boat I’ve surfed on is a Malibu. I wouldn’t say the R4S is better or worse but just different. The Malibu software definitely looks nice - especially the stereo auto volume adjustment that syncs with rpms.

I have a 2024 R4S which did not come with a rear facing camera. After riding in a buddy’s Malibu I see how nice this is for surfing and water sports.

Has anyone successfully added a WiFi camera to the Garmin Glass Cockpit?

Luckily after turning the battery off and trying the next day the issue resolved. I’ve seen one other time but turning off the battery for several minutes fixed it. Oddly turning off the batteries for <2 min did not have any affect and the error still remained.

Thanks. Hopefully the battery switch will work for us! I’ve run into a few other bugs and that usually resolves it.

Previously I’ve had no issues with my ‘24 R4S but tonight I went to turn on the lights and experienced the same thing you described

Did the dealer ever offer any explanation? The Garmin software feels very buggy.

Has anyone located a 12v outlet (cigarette lighter equivalent) on the R4? The manual shows it on the R4 outboard and the R6. Wondering if maybe our boat doesn’t have one because we have a heater and wireless charger mount option?

We have a compressor that only operates on 12v plug

The knob bent within the first two weeks of ownership. Looks like a $200+ part. The step is still functional but doesn’t lock in place. Seems like plenty of others have had these issues.

Got a 2024 R4S to replace our 2004 Regal 2600 (26’). We have 2 kids 9 and 12. No regrets! They love surfing and we still tube their friends a lot. Great combination of cruising, tubing and surfing. Will prob get extra ballast at some point though.

Thanks for the pic. Very helpful! I was trying to figure out how to avoid the conflict with racks. I ended up mounting one (it rotated a bit so I must not have tightened it enough), but the rider feedback has been that they prefer the top tow point.

Just got our new 2024 R4 Surf this week (V8 350 CE DP) and we are also novices at wake surfing but experienced at wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and skiing. So far it’s been great. Just got my R4 surf this week with the Prisma tower and love it so far. My boat came with 2 tow balls but they’re unmounted. Does anyone know exactly where these should be attached on each side of the tower? Pics would be greatly appreciated!
