Re: 2004 Cobalt 200 quit on Lake.

Did the fuses burn with the key in the run position or start position or do you know? That would help to understand what part of the circuit to troubleshoot. It sounds like you have a wire that was shorted to ground and now that it’s been moved it’s no longer grounded out. Look for chaffed wires ...

Re: 2016 r7 stained seats

Star Brite mold and mildew remover and steam with a soft brush. Try that before you conclude you need to replace the fabric. It won’t work without the steam.

Re: Trailer bunks

I used marine carpet from menards and 316L stainless staples from McMaster Carr. Worked fine, no issues.

Re: First day on the lake

When I get it out of the airplane hanger it’s in I’ll let you know. We’ve had so much rain I can’t get my truck into the field to get to the hanger. That’s what happens when you keep your boat in a farmers hanger! Maybe this weekend!

If you didn’t get my private message try sending me one with your email address and I’ll send you the wiring diagrams. The message I sent you is sitting in my outbox, I’m not sure if it sent properly.

Westland, 227. Not a high dollar cover but keeps the boat dry. The straps to the trailer (not installed) keep it tight so it sheds water. Includes a vented pole and is reinforced over the windshield and ladder area. No complaints for the money. This cover ...

First day on the lake

A recently became the owner on a 2000, 227. The boat sat for the last 5 years. It only has 57 hours on it. After fixing a few things the boat got wet today. Put a couple hours on it, exercised all its systems with no issues. Comes on and off the trailer pretty easy. No real complaints.

Couple ...

Re: Any welders?

I have a millermatic 215. It does everything I want it to. I purchased it new and have probably put 20lbs of weld wire through it. It’s never missed a beat.

Re: Need a little help

Thx for the tip on the update. My father in law loved this boat but he hardly used it. The hour meter shows 57 hours and I know it works. The boat was dirty when I picked it up but has little to no wear. I’m just working through a couple little issues and it’s off to the lake. I’m looking forward to ...
