Re: Insurance Value

That's an excellent question. Can I thread jack/pile on? Anyone insure an old but pristine Cobalt? It look me almost 2 years to find mine and I have no idea about a replacement value. They don't make the model (or style) any more.

Re: 263 Condurre Cabin Table

Hi there...welcome. I have the same boat. They are rare birds (mine is a 91). You'll love it. It's cool, funky, and really has everything one might need. And they handle wonderfully for being a bit top heavy.

Unfortunately, you are missing a piece. There is a U shaped filler cushion (on a backer ...

You go! I have a '91 263 and the looks you get from captaining a vintage Cobalt...priceless.

Thank you for saving her. Looking forward to the progress.

Re: Grill on a 242?

My 263 has a transom 'grab bar', parallel to the swim platform. So, I attached a clamp on rod holder to the grab bar, which stays in place 24/7.

Re: Cobalt Malibu Boat operation

I don't get it? Why would they be screwed. They would get a boat that looked like nothing else with a 240 as the only power plant with no tower. You know you need low clearance 😂

Re: 1999 Cobalt 232 restoration

Welcome, your boat looks AMAZING. Would you mind sharing:

1. What you used for polishing/waxing? The bootstripe on my '91 263 is really dull
2. The exact model for your stereo? Mine is a good 10 years old and I really want a remote and an auxiliary port.

Thx

Oooooh, a boat older than mine. Loce it!

Salt water debris, lack of freshwater cooling. Eh. Engines are like bad boyfriends, there is always another one around the corner that you can pick up.
