I have several storage doors that can lock. I did not realized it until one locked behind me and I had to crawl through another to unlock it from the inside. They each have the same handle which it appears to have some method of locking it from the outside (pic attached). Is there a special key out there to fit these and lock them?

I think you have a Southco M5-22-100-8 locking slam latch. See the first handles on page 2 of the pdf. Southco made these latches, but they may have discontinued or sold the M5 line as I can’t find it on their website anymore and had to find the M5 info on a random website.

I have a 240 also, and I replaced the non-locking Southco slam latches with the locking version (M5-22-100-8) on the waste basket compartment and the rear hatch inflator compartment.

I was in a similar situation when I was in the army. I had recently moved some of my things to storage unit and found that I didn't want to leave the unit open. The lock on the door was a normal lock but I didn't want to carry a large amount of keys with me. I found a better way to lock the door instead of using a key. I placed a bolt into the door and the door frame which was inside the storage unit. If a person tries to open the door and then the bolt pops out locking the door. It may seem difficult to get into but all you have to do is bend the bolt and take it out. It may take a few minutes but it's easy. I hope this helped you.

Yeah, my ski locker etc uses that same lock - I never lock them - but found the keys in the Cobalt bag that came with the boat. I would expect that is a universal key.
