Honey and I rented a mustang to enjoy Siesta key. If only we had the Cobalt to explore. 😎
Nice Pics!

If you didn't this trip, stop into Anna's Deli on Siesta Key for a sandwich to enjoy out on that talcum powder sand the next time down. My folks retired just south of there in Nokomis about 20 years ago. I head down once or twice a year. A local turned me onto Anna's. It's in the little Post Office plaza next to the Crescent Club bar. Been around for 50 years and make simple, but fantastic sandwiches. Little tradition of my wife and I for a date lunch whenever we go.

And if you find anyone renting Cobalts down there, let me know. All I could find was a crappy deck boat, but it worked fine for the Intercoastal.

Heading back down late April for a few days for a shot of warmth. Marina opens for the season the weekend after our return.

.
Thx CDH. We will definitely check Anna’s out. 👌

We had less than two inches of snow in the am this past Sunday. Wasn't even cold enough to stick on the streets
It was gone before I could get a good picture. I still haven't posted a quality pic with the new iPhone 13 Pro.
Here's the difference about snow in the South: grocery store shelves were emptied, half of my shift at Horseshoe Casino called in and couldn't make it to work.

Another Wednesday night race series in the books. Our best week as a team. Came in 7th of 17 teams. First week we came in 8th, second 10th. Only the top 5 teams make the end of the season finals. So probably no shot at that this year. But I think we have a group we can build upon for next season.

Pats Peak here in NH. Tiny place, but all you need for night racing.

Typically ski at Gunstock, which just so happens to be right past our marina. So, I get to wave hi to our Cobalt on our way skiing.

Took a family ski trip to Steamboat as a child. Loved it. On the list of places I'd like to take our 3 and 6 year olds when they are a bit older and stronger skiers.

CDH that's so cool! I grew up racing dirt bikes and although I don't any more it's still in my blood! I've never been much of a skier but I can sure see where that would become a passion pretty quickly. Kudos to you! That's just way way cool.

Looking forward to busier in season activity in the forum, but still enjoy seeing what everyone is up to this winter.

Love it! I grew up on ski and started competing in freestyle events starting at age 9 or 10. I would get in over 100 days each year through high school and more like 30-45 days each year since then until Covid hit. We lived in the Sacramento area for 20 years and had a condo in Lake Tahoe so most of my skiing was in CA as an adult and I’m heading out there in a month to ski with some old neighbors/buddies. My 24 year old son is joining me - I taught him and both of his sister to ski when they were 3 years old as well and I remember how exhausting it was! I’m 10 years older than you but I still enjoy a ski trip more than any other vacation - it’s a great family activity that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
