I expect this has been addressed elsewhere, but I can't find it anywhere on this forum.
Wondering if anybody can recommend an electric/battery powered pump to extract oil from the crankcase. I have a hand pump, but I'm getting older each year.

Re: Oil Change
I've used this for years and it was cheap. I made my own set up to use on the dipstick to get the oil out

Re: Oil Change
Thanks, BBP. What do you mean by making your own set up? Does the tubing it comes with not fit in the dipstick tube?

Re: Oil Change
The dipstick has a screw on top for this type of work instead of going down the center of the tube. So I just cut 1 end off of a washing machine hose. Then bam and it works!ericpeterson wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:26 pm Thanks, BBP. What do you mean by making your own set up? Does the tubing it comes with not fit in the dipstick tube?
